Super Smash Bros & Hugs

Yesterday ended with me having dinner with my family and then playing video games with my godson. He "cooked" me, which is apparently the new term for "he whooped my ass". We played Super Smash Bros and he likes to be the same characters when we fight. He also likes to add 6 computer players, all the same characters, so you can imagine that trying to figure yourself out on the screen is complicated lol. I think my brother is over his shenanigans because he told him he would only battle him if he didn't add any players to the screen.

I enjoyed laughing with him and at the end of the night he surprised me by giving me a hug bye and telling me he loves me. If you knew him, you would know that he never does that. He doesn't like hugs and he doesn't like to say I love you back. Sometimes he even actively doesn't want to hear other people say it. I say it no matter what though. I want him to know that no matter what I love him, even if he acts like he doesn't want to hear it. I think part of him does.

I also always ask him if I can have a hug bye. Most of the time it's just a solid no, and this time he said no, but as I was walking out he said wait I want a hug.

I love him so much and I really enjoyed being able to spend time with him. My heart feels full.
